Reminder:  Outside food and drink are NOT allowed in classrooms.

School starts at 7:45 each morning.  If you are not in your first hour class, you will be marked tardy by your first hour teacher. 

  • three tardies = 30 minutes detention

  • four tardies = 60 minutes detention

  • five tardies = 60 minutes detention, teacher-initiated parent contact and an unexcused absence

  • six tardies = unexcused absence, parent conference with Dr. Kelso and initiation of board-approved truancy policy

  • seven or more tardies = 1 day ISS with an additional day of ISS for each tardy above seven

MEAT RAFFLE!

Fort Scott High School Junior Class After Prom Party Committee is holding a fundraiser to raise money for the 2021 After-Prom party.  Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.

On Thursday, January 31st, three winning tickets will be drawn for these prizes:

 

1) 🐮  50# of hamburger donated by Bryan Pinkerton 

2) 🐄  50# of hamburger donated by Brent & Lynette Emmerson

3) 🐂  Beef Package:

          2 T-Bone steaks

          4 Rib-eye steaks

          1 Chuck Roast

          20# of hamburger donated by Charleston Creek Cattle (Jana Hazelbaker Family)

FSHS BREAKFASTS AND LUNCHES ARE FREE UNTIL THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, BUT YOU NEED TO BE COUNTED IF YOU ARE EATING SCHOOL MEALS (TELL YOUR FIRST HOUR TEACHER) SO ENOUGH FOOD IS PREPARED!  FOR SACK LUNCHES, MILK IS 50-CENTS A CARTON.
